‘Black Money for White Nights’ to premiere at Karlovy Vary

The tragicomedy “Black Money for White Nights” will have its world premiere at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Crystal Globe Competition.

Kristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov are among the most important contemporary Bulgarian filmmakers with international recognition. Their previous films, including “The Lesson”, “Glory”, “The Father” and “Triumph”, all co-produced by Graal, have been screened and awarded at leading international festivals such as Toronto, Locarno, San Sebastian and Karlovy Vary.

Now, the two filmmakers’ new film, “Black Money for White Nights,” will have its world premiere at the Competition Section of the 60th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and is, once again, a co-production with Graal. The film features producers Konstantina Stavrianou and Rena Vougioukalou, editor Giorgos Mavropsaridis, and composer Thodoris Economou.
