Following his father’s death, Nikos leaves the provinces to work in Athens guarding his brutish uncle’s dogs. Nikos finds the dynamic of his relationship with his uncle changing when his uncle’s wife draws closer to him.

Nikos is an average guy without any ambitions, living in rural Greece. His father’s sudden death reunites him with his uncle who invites him to live and work at his house in the outskirts of Athens. Not having much to lose, Nikos takes his chances accepting his uncle’s offer. He takes on the job of protecting his uncle’s purebred dogs from the hostile neighbors. Driven by envy, lust and anger, Nikos merges into a vicious circle of perpetual antagonism, the struggle for power over others and discontent.
