A Greek shopkeeper discovers something about his family’s past when his mother embraces an Albanian worker.

Stavros runs a small shop in Athens’ Akadimia Platonos district. Business isn’t going well – so most of the time, he hangs out in front of it with his three best friends. Stavros’ demented mother also regularly joins the group. Lacking anything better to do, the group spends all day reminiscing about the old days and badmouthing the insufferable foreigners. But Stavros, known as the loudest ranter, soon experiences his own personal worst-case scenario. The Albanian Marenglen claims to recognise his own mother in Stavros’ mother.
